Calendar & availability

Your real schedule in-app: deadlines, events, visibility scopes and Find a time.

The Calendar shows your actual week — not just meetings.

  • Task due dates, for every assignee, not just the primary one.
  • Noot target dates and milestones.
  • Meetings and their bookings.
  • Events synced from a connected Google, Microsoft or Zoom calendar, two-way.

It only ever shows Noots you can actually see. The item counter is a button that opens exactly what the current scope holds, soonest first, with past items dimmed at the end rather than hidden.

Creating an event

Title, start, all day, and a kind — Meeting, Event, Busy or Deadline. You can attach it to a Noot, which also puts it on that project's Calendar tab.

Visibility

ScopeWho sees it
PublicAnyone in your organization.
MutualTeammates you share work with.
NootThe members of the project it's attached to.
PrivateOnly you.

Noot scope quietly becomes Private if the event isn't attached to a project, so it can't be a setting that means nothing. You can also set a default visibility for your whole calendar.

Reminders

Remind me starts at no reminder and offers 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes, 1 and 2 hours, 1 and 2 days, and 1 week before — plus Custom…, which takes any amount up to eight weeks, at minute resolution. Reminders are swept every couple of minutes, so "15 minutes before" means 15 minutes before.

Find a time

  1. 1Pick the people, a date and a duration.
  2. 2Set the Between window you'd consider.
  3. 3Read the availability bars — one per person across the window, with busy blocks, free gaps and the suggested slots drawn on top, so you can see *why* those slots were suggested.
  4. 4Click a slot and it pre-fills a new event with the invitees already on it.
It uses everyone's real hours

Availability respects each person's own work schedule for that weekday — somebody who works 07:00–15:00, or not on Fridays, is never offered a slot they were never free for. When there is no shared time, it names the people who simply aren't working rather than shrugging.

Tip

If your workspace runs the Shift-Based Scheduler extension, availability follows the rota instead of 9–5 — see Healthcare extensions.
