No testimonials. Not yet.
Nobody has agreed to be quoted about Noots, so there is nothing here pretending they have. What you get instead: written scenarios, the product itself, and a list of the things we refuse to claim.
What this page is not
- No customer quotes, names, photos or logos.
- No star ratings, no review count, no average score.
- No “trusted by N teams” counter, no awards, no funding news.
- No review structured data, so no invented stars in search results.
How a team of this shape would use Noots
Read this first: these are illustrative examples, not customer quotes.
Nobody said any of the following. Each card was written by us: a team shape, the situation a team of that shape is usually in, and the parts of Noots that answer it. The roles are illustrative and the organisations are not real. We do not publish customer testimonials, reviews, ratings or logos, because we have no customers who have agreed to be quoted — when that changes, real names will appear here with their permission and this notice will say so.
What is not made up is the product half. Every line under “What that is, in the product” describes a surface that ships today — the tour further down this page shows the screens.
Ops lead
~40-person IT managed-services provider
Work arrives from two directions at once — monitoring alerts at 3am and client email during the day — and the only question that ever matters is what is on fire and who owns it.
What that is, in the product
- A monitoring alert opens a ticket; the same alert firing again updates the ticket it already made instead of opening a new one every minute, and a recovery closes it.
- Closing that ticket stops the SLA clock through the same code path the button uses, so the clock cannot disagree with itself.
- The built-in CRM's pipeline sits beside the project actually delivering the work, so a renewal is not retyped into a second system.
Programme manager
civil engineering contractor, three live sites
Sub-contractor dates move as a block, and the cost of finding out late is measured in plant hire. What is needed is not a prettier board but an honest answer to 'what does this slip actually hit'.
What that is, in the product
- The Gantt draws real dependency arrows, flags finish-to-start violations and highlights the longest dependent chain.
- How late something is comes from checklist completion against the next milestone, blockers and the assignee's own answer — never from which column a card sits in.
- When a date moves, Autopilot ripples the dependent dates and tells the owners it affected.
Practice administrator
multi-site clinic group with a night rota
Rotas run through the night, and a system that treats 22:00 as 'away' is worse than no presence at all. Anything a meeting records has to be safe to keep.
What that is, in the product
- Availability and the presence dot are shift-aware, so somebody mid-night-shift reads as at work rather than asleep.
- Install the redaction extension and the scrub runs before a transcript is stored — on every capture path, including calls made inside Noots.
- Approved time off blocks a slot in find-a-time, and a private calendar event blocks one without ever showing its title.
Head of delivery
12-person creative agency, many small clients
Twelve people, thirty live projects and one recurring tax: the write-up after every client call, done badly at 6pm by whoever remembers.
What that is, in the product
- The bot joins from the calendar, or the browser extension captures the call with no bot in the room, and the action items land as tasks on that client's project.
- Per-project client invoicing is separate from the internal budget on purpose — 'what did this cost us' and 'what do we invoice' are different questions and both surfaces say so.
- Every project has its own channel automatically, and the channel and the board link to each other.
Records officer
county government department
Requests arrive with a statutory clock attached, and who did what has to still be provable months after everyone involved has moved on.
What that is, in the product
- The government bundle adds a records-request exporter, a board that can be published for the public without exposing the workspace behind it, and field-level role controls.
- An append-only compliance log and an audit log record the administrative actions, and the compliance log refuses ordinary edits at the database.
- Every automation firing writes a row — including the ones it skipped, and the exact condition that failed.
Founder
8-person software company with no project manager
Nobody wants to become the person who chases people. The work is real, the plan is in three heads, and the status meeting is the only thing keeping it aligned.
What that is, in the product
- Autopilot on its default setting drafts and proposes: it writes the plan from a five-question brief and waits for you to edit it.
- A merged pull request proposes closing the task it is linked to, so the board stops drifting from the repository.
- The home screen is a live window on every project and meeting — no status deck, no sitting in on calls, no waiting for a write-up.
The product, with nothing standing in for it
This is the same tour that opens from “See how it works in action” on the home page. Every panel is a screen that exists today, animated in the order it happens in real use.
From meetings to board

Dana — I'll take the Stripe migration this sprint.
Marek — The board redesign is blocking QA.
On the board
- Bot joins
- Speakers separated
- Decisions & actions
- Tasks on the board
- The bot joins from your calendar — Google Meet, Zoom or Teams — or the browser extension captures the call with no bot in the room at all.
- One person is one speaker: the transcript is turns, and two spellings of the same colleague are merged rather than split across the talk share.
- Decisions, action items, topics and talk share are extracted once, then the action items land as real tasks on the Noot you picked.

Autonomy
Draft & propose
or approve each change · or fully autonomous
Horizon
Run to the next milestone
or start to finish, a line per milestone
Run summary
- Proposed 14 changes · 2 re-dated after a check-in reply
- Left 6 tasks alone — they fall past your horizon
- 1 blocked task escalated to the team's lead, by name
Draft & propose is the default and changes nothing until you say so. At fully autonomous it acts first and tells you after — that is what the setting is for, and every change it makes is still reversible.
- Five questions
- Two axes
- A plan you can read
- What it changed
- Two axes, set by you: how much it may do without asking — draft & propose, approve each change, or fully autonomous — and how far ahead it answers for, to the next milestone or start to finish.
- It decomposes the brief into phases, tasks and checklists, assigns from real people with real capacity, asks a status check-in and reads a plain-English reply as a new date.
- Every run says what it changed and how much it deliberately left alone, blocked work escalates to a named person, and every single change can be undone.
Chat & smart calendar
On every planYour rail
Live notes · updating every 30 seconds
- Key point — regional rollout goes behind a flag first
- Action item — Dana to confirm the finance sign-off date
Find a time · next week
A private event blocks a slot without ever showing its title, and live call notes stay off until a workspace admin turns them on.
- A channel per project
- Call from the channel
- Notes while you talk
- Find a time
- Every project, team and division gets a channel automatically, and a project's channel and its board link straight to each other. Group chats and DMs sit in the same rail, in a stable order.
- Voice and video run inside Noots and survive navigating the app. Turn live notes on and the bot writes key points and action items while the call is still running — off by default, per workspace.
- Google Calendar and Outlook sync both ways with real invitations, and find-a-time reads each person's own timezone, their declared working hours and their approved time off.
Automations
Team plan and upRun log
- Build the rule
- It fires
- Every run is logged
- Deterministic, and deliberately separate from both AI systems: when a task is created, moves, is assigned, gets a label or goes overdue, do a specific thing — move it, assign it, set a date, comment, notify, post to a channel or call a webhook.
- Every firing writes a log row, including the ones it skipped and the exact condition that failed. A silent rule is indistinguishable from a broken one.
- Chains terminate and a time trigger fires once, re-arming only when the due date genuinely changes — so a rule cannot loop or nag.
Nooties
On every planThis morning's briefing
- 12 tasks open. 3 will slip past Friday on current dates.
- 2 tasks have no owner. Two people are under 60% allocated.
- The QA checklist on “Regional rollout” has not moved in 6 days.
What a Nootie will not do: create a task, assign a person, change a date or move a card. It reads, and it reports back.
- Hire a role
- Put it on a schedule
- Read the briefing
- Eighteen roles — status, QA, coordination, risk, backlog, release, stand-up, deadlines and ten more — hired per project rather than configured once for the whole workspace.
- They read your live tasks and your real meeting notes, not a generic prompt, and they can run on a schedule so the briefing is already waiting when you open the project.
- They are advisory. A Nootie writes a briefing and can comment on a task; it never creates work, assigns anybody or moves anything on your board.
Triage and summaries are off until you turn them on, per mailbox, because they send message bodies to a model. Consent is checked on the server, not by hiding a button.
- Your inbox, synced
- Triaged
- Filed as work
- Gmail, Outlook and IMAP, synced incrementally — a large mailbox is not re-read from the top every pass.
- Turn triage on and every message is labelled: needs a reply, FYI, or newsletter. Long threads get a summary you can attach to a project.
- Mail becomes work as a copy, never a move: attachments are copied to the Noot, and extraction only ever proposes tasks — it never edits work you already have.

CRM & pipeline
Disabling an extension removes its tabs and stops its background jobs on the server, not just in the menu.
- Pick your industry
- The workspace changes shape
- Add the rest later
- Ten industries: IT & managed services, engineering & construction, healthcare administration, government, legal, education, agency, financial services, retail, and general purpose.
- Choosing one sets your project tab strip, seeds starter projects and queues the extensions that industry runs on — and you can untick any of them before a single row is written.
- Extensions add whole tabs, inject panels into screens you already use, or run background jobs. The built-in CRM, with a pipeline tied to the project doing the work, is one of them.
Extension & desktop
On every plan- In the toolbar
- Capture with no bot
- Or leave the browser
- The extension puts today's tasks and your notifications one click away, and its claim checker answers from your own workspace rather than the open web.
- Capture a call without putting a bot in the room: the extension records locally and posts the transcript into your meeting vault.
- The desktop app is signed and self-updating on macOS, Windows and Linux, with native sign-in and its own titlebar.
The counter-claim, three inches below the claim
A claim is easiest to keep honest when the things it is not sit next to it. This list is the same one on our vertical pages, plus the two Autopilot lines we have shipped wrongly before and will not ship wrongly again.
What we don't claim
- No customer testimonials, reviews or ratings — we have none we may publish.
- No star ratings anywhere in Noots. We retired the ones we had rather than show a number nobody could trust.
- No “trusted by N teams” counter, no customer logos, no awards, no funding announcement.
- No SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or FedRAMP attestation, and no uptime SLA.
- Autopilot set to fully autonomous acts without asking you first. That is what the setting is for; it is not the default, and every change is reversible.
- Autopilot reads each member's declared working hours. It does not read calendar free/busy, and it does not reshuffle a plan because a meeting moved.
- Autopilot does not schedule external meetings or send email on your behalf.
- No Figma integration.
